Susan Scott
Susan Scott, MPH, is a Public Health Advisor in the Office of the Associate Director of
the Applied Research Program (ARP). She specializes in planning and implementing
communications efforts for ARP. Previously, she was a Writer/Editor for a health sciences
publisher in Chapel Hill, NC. She also served as Editorial Consultant for the North
Carolina Advisory Committee on Cancer Coordination and Control to develop the North
Carolina Cancer Control Plan 2001 - 2006. Other previous experience includes performing
outreach and publication/program development for the Paget Foundation. Ms. Scott holds a
MPH in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill and a BA in Psychology from Hamilton College.
