Sameer Siddiqi

Sameer Siddiqi is a Cancer Research Training Award Fellow in the Office of the Associate Director of the Applied Research Program (ARP). He is tasked with supporting a range of ARP's cross-cutting energy balance initiatives, including its participation in the National Collaborative on Childhood Obesity ResearchExternal Web Site Policy and NIH Obesity Research Task Force. Most recently, he served as a Legislative Fellow in the United States Congress, where he contributed to school-based childhood obesity prevention efforts. Other prior experiences include health disparities analysis for the Kaiser Family Foundation and environmental health research with the City of Houston Mayor's Office. Mr. Siddiqi graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors of Science in Biology.
